Synopsis
In Knights of the Guardian, a young warrior must become the ultimate guardian
Seiya is a young and fierce fighter earning a living by defeating any challenger. When one of his fights unlocks a magical strength within him, his whole life is turned upside down. Tasked with defending the reincarnation of the Goddess Athena, Seiya enters a new world of ancient myth and mystic forces. His destiny is to become the Pegasus Knight who will protect Athena at all costs. But can he fulfill his promise and defeat the evil that challenges his newfound power?

Knights of the Zodiac is a live-action fantasy movie based on the popular manga series Saint Seiya by Masami Kurumada and the anime Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya. The movie is directed by Polish director and producer Tomasz Baginski. He is best known for executive producing the hit Netflix show, The Witcher.
Leading the cast of Knights of the Zodiac is the Japanese-American actor Mackenyu who plays Seiya, the Pegasus Knight. He is joined by Madison Iseman who portrays Athena and is known for her role in Annabelle Comes Home. Veteran fantasy actor Sean Bean plays Alman Kiddo, having featured in Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, and other high-profile fantasies. Diego Tinoco is Nero, the Phoenix Knight, and Caitlin Hutson portrays Marin, the Eagle Knight. Famke Janssen, Nick Stahl and Mark Dacascos round out the cast.
